Let's be honest here, shall we?
openSUSE's Sonar looks is probably the best vanilla (vanilla, as in keeping the old GNOME style) GNOME around.
But it misses some things that are nowadays considered almost a standard in Linux theming. I'm talking about monochrome panel icons, window controls on the left (not that consensual, I know) and some nice wallpapers to go with.
So, here I'm introducing
Sonar'10 Artwork Pack.
Sonar'10 features GTK Sonar Theme, Sonar Icons + Ubuntu-Mono-Dark panel icons (with 4 available distributor-logos), latest GNOME and Hicolor Icon Themes (shiny new emoticons), Fifth Leg Font, openSuse 11.3 default wallpaper and an alternative one Ubuntu branded by ~
cldxAll this comes in an handy install script, which copies theme to ~/.themes, icons to /usr/share/icons (so you need to insert your password), allows you to choose a distributor-logo, copies Fifth Leg font to ~/.fonts, copies wallpapers to Home Folder and then applies all Fifht Leg as titlebar font, Sonar as GTK Theme, Sonar as icon theme and openSuse wallpaper as default wallpaper. You can alternatively use the Ubuntu branded that you'll find on your home folder.
The script's code is horrific, but HEY!, it works.
To install, simply download Sonar'10 package (package is 23 mb in size, but it includes 3 updated icon themes), extract it, open up a terminal, navigate to the extracted folder, do chmod +x install.sh && ./install.sh .
So, if you extracted Sonar package in your home folder, this would do the trick:
cd Sonar\'10/ && chmod +x install.sh && ./install.sh Further info can be found in the README file.
All credits go to original Sonar, Ubuntu-Mono, wallpapers and Font authors, I've just grabbed them, added one or other thing and made the simplified the installation a bit.
Oh, and of course, had fun doing the banner in Inkscape. What do you think of it?
Depending on your feedback, I may add more additional distributor-logos as well as a restore option.
The best vanilla GNOME around just met 2010 Linux theming. They're in love now.

Porém estou com um probleminha.. Sempre o ícone do openSUSE é instalado, mesmo escolhendo outras opções..
Como proceder?!
Abraço.
Well done! Thanks!
Please, can somebody upload the pack to another place?
